I finished reading Ben Elton's Dead Famous yesterday. Strange to think its quite a good book which dissects the popular culture of Reality TV (satire of Big Brother) and how much people are willing to go through for money and fame which is nothing new in human history anyway. Anyway, its far more interesting than inconceivable which was just a good laugh.

I also managed to watch the last two episodes and season finale of six feet under which I only started watching last week and hence missed hell of a lot. A couple of scenes such as David coming out to his colleauges and his mother. The second last episode involves one gay guy who was killed for gay bashing. The media watchdogs didn't censore that one :) hahaha dun ask me why though they have censored other gay stories in the series. Censorship sucks and there is no reason any government or anyone in this world should support censorship because movies, TV or any form of art should not be subjected to any form of whims, political or whims or correctness or norms or whatever.

Avoid Orchard Rd if you can because there are just throngs of shoppers making walking difficult. Plus its difficult to find a place just to eat because they are all just queueing up to get into one. Maybe someone should start an anti-christmas thing. It's getting out of proportion. All these buying and feeling happy.

Dun get me wrong. Christians should be able to celebrate Christmas for the birth of Christ. I just think that it is however not a valid reason to be happy or pretend to light up or start sharing things with other people. That should be a motto of everday life. Now, its only a tourist thing, a get people to buy things. I wonder what Jesus would think. Its so comercialised its beyond a religious day anymore.

I just can't breathe staying here. Singapore. It's a place in which this whole mood just sucks you in whatever the mood is. One is left with no choice but to go with the flow. I got to get out somehow. And I don't mean vacations because they don't solve the problem...
